Why not create a device which can analyze the patient's breath and predict asthma attacks hours in advance?
The device will be able to detect nitric oxide, an asthma attack marker, at parts per billion. If nitric oxide increases are detected one day before an attack occurs, the patient will be able to take medication in time to prevent the attack.
