  Exhaust Hood Cleaning business.

  Business Overview

In many regions of the United States and Canada, restaurants are required by health board regulations to have their kitchen exhaust hoods and filters cleaned on a regularly scheduled basis to prevent bacteria growth and to eliminate the potential for grease fires. Needless to say, given the vast number of restaurants in North America, an incredible opportunity exists to start a restaurant exhaust hood-cleaning service and cash in big-time. And if you don't know the first thing about cleaning exhaust hoods, don't worry, many existing hood-cleaning companies offer classes to become a certified hood and duct cleaner. This can be accomplished in only a few weeks in the classroom. Cleaning rates vary by size, access and frequency, but average between $30 and $50 per working hour.
