A roof snow removal service was featured earlier in this chapter, and a good fit with that business is to also provide clients with a service that installs Christmas lights, as well as taking the lights down after Christmas. Even though millions of people decorate their houses each year with Christmas lights, there would probably be millions more, if it was not for the fact that a lot of people simply do not have the time to install Christmas lights, not to mention the old problem of the lights being installed 20 feet off the ground. This is why starting a business that installs and removes Christmas lights is a great small business venture to set in motion. While this business is not guaranteed to make you rich, it can, however, create an extra income of a few thousand dollars each year just when we all seem to need it the most.
