The idea is to create a device that will tackle the fragility of the hard drives and the fee and anonymity of the cloud, allowing users to back up their files to the hard drives of chosen, trusted people.
When files are saved to the device, they will also be automatically sent over the internet to the hard drive of selected people. Saved files will be pulled directly from the device or accessed online from anywhere in the world, and the data transferred will always be encrypted during transit. Files can also be saved to be shared in a collaborative folder, which will allow select people to access and update the content, with the changes automatically saved to all the members' networks.
