Recharger for standard batteries

    I want to have a battery charger to recharge standard alkaline batteries. This will keep them from the landfill for a little while longer.
    The charger will use a microprocessor to control the trickle charge and prevent overheating and will be able to charge both AA and AAA batteries. The charging cycle will take about 4 hours depending upon the quality of the battery and amount of charge left in it. The device will also recharge Ni-CD, Ni-MH, and RAM batteries by automatically sensing the battery type and adjusting its charging accordingly.
