Why not provide our mobile phones with ECG machine capability of clinical-quality readings?
Such a cell phone should have a pair of electrodes to send ECG readings via Bluetooth. The device could be held in the hands to take pulse readings, or could be placed on the user's chest.
Of course, received ECG wouldn't be as comprehensive as a full electrocardiogram but it could be helpful while arrhythmia or other heart pattern issues monitoring.
