Many people try to cope with heartburn with the help of baking soda. Soda helps to get rid of the pain only for a while. If constantly used soda affects the mucous coat of stomach, violates the acid-base balance and can assist with disease progress. Prolonged heartburn can cause serious complications and even precancerous condition. People, who rarely suffer from heartburn, can remove the pain attack after drinking half a glass of alkaline non-carbonated water or milk. Decoctions...

The solar heated clothes dryer will use solar heated water to heat and dry the clothes. To create the heat, roof top solar-thermal collectors will gather the solar energy and transfer the heat to water in a stratified storage tank. Four pipes will lead from the tank to the dryer, which will move the hot water to a tumbler, which will heat it, and move the cooled water back out. A cold internal surface will cause condensation and extract the moisture from the clothes.

New inflatable floatation device will be about the size of a mobile phone, and will be quickly inflated to provide support to exhausted swimmers. The device will be small enough to be strapped to the waist or gear. Pulling the trigger will cause the canister of compressed air to fill the tube, which will be bright yellow to make spotting by rescuers easier. The device will be attached to the user by a tether, and can be deflated and reused.

Cleaning and caring for silver jewelry is simple to do if you follow a few basic rules. Your silver jewelry should always shine with a little care and maintenance. When you buy silver jewelry, the first thing to remember is that silver is a soft metal. Even a heavy silver ring will bend if enough force is added to it, i.e. you should take off your ring before lifting anything heavy. Another thing to bear in mind is how you store your jewelry when it is not being worn....

My idea is to create sensory equipment enabling people to share hugs across cyberspace. The idea can be implemented with so-called "hug-shirt" and a teddy bear. The teddy bear will be fitted with sensors to detect when it is hugged by a person. The sensation will be transmitted to another person via a special jacket fitted with heated copper wires.

What if a remote control had a buy button on it? It would be very convenient to buy things which were in the commercials. To purchase something the user should push Buy button and then enter credit card numbers or passwords in the form on the TV screen. The good would be delivered at the address defined.

I am a member of a soccer club. We have no real goalies there so the field players have to take turns in the goal. I always have the feeling that some people spend more time in the goal then others but I have no real proof. I suggest creating a device similar to a chess clock but with five and more buttons. If you're in the goal, you press your button so as it is easy to track your time there. I am sure that this device would have many other applications!

Why not create a system that will allow the blind to "see" their surroundings through the use of sound. The system will use sunglasses with built-in micro video cameras, a computer, and a pair of headphones. The cameras will analyze the space in front of them and create a 3D model in which various surfaces will be assigned sounds to be played back through the headphones. Blind users will be able to decipher the sounds and "hear" the space around them, which their brains will turn...
