It would be cool to have ear plugs able to filter noise electronically. Using such ear plugs, you can easily talk to a co-worker, while filtering out background noise, by simply twisting the adjustment knob.

Why not throw out your wires and charging mats and charge your phone wirelessly, just by setting it near the laptop? The laptop will charge the user's mobile device through a pair of transmitters, one each built into the laptop and phone. Placing the phone next to the laptop will trigger the charging function, with an audible "ping" and on-screen notification when charging begins.

Why not combine photovoltaic panels with OLED's to create panels that can be adjusted to face the sun as well as create designs or messages on the sides of buildings? The panels will be made of aluminum and stainless steel. During the day, the panels will be adjusted to maximize solar energy absorption while at night they will be flipped to allow the OLED screens to provide light for interior rooms or media playback.

Why not develop a robotic golf caddy that will happily carry the user's clubs and never expect a tip? The robot will be programmed to follow an individual, moving at walking speed and automatically stopping when the user stops, or it will be driven by remote control.
