Weed killing will go high-tech and less toxic with smart lasers able to recognize, and destroy, unwanted weeds. The method will use cameras and a computer algorithm to distinguish the weeds from more desirable plants. Once the weeds are recognized the CO2 lasers will deliver a carefully measured beam directly to the weakest point of the weed. The energy levels of the beams will be exact, because a beam that is too weak will actually encourage the weed to grow.

My idea is to create stations for loading media files to different devices such as mobile phones, MP3/MP4 players, flash drives, etc. A song, video, audio-book, ringtone, whatever can be easily copied to any digital media equipped with USB-port, infrared port or Bluetooth. Such stations are supposed to be found in crowded places like airports, railway stations, shopping centers, movie theatres and other.

I found it both stylish and funny to wear shoes with a picture on a sole. Just imagine... with each your step you leave a piece of art on sand. It is really cool.

I have the idea which could return a great interest for pet shop keepers. Why not make tattoos on fishes? There could be any kind of tattoo... either a text (like "I love you", "Merry Christmas" or whatever) or a small picture. A customer would have an option.

I wish we had a computer with a front and back screen and a single CPU. The CPU would have two hard disks which worked for both screens individually. In such a way two people sitting opposite each other could work independently.

I suggest supplying public lavatories with some kind of toilet paper dispenser to limit people on how much they use it. Sometimes they tend to use too much toilet paper at one time; and most of it ends up on the floor. If people had to push a button to get toilet paper then I think it would save some.

The idea is to develop a way to transmit power through sound, which could lead to a new method of delivering wireless power from greater differences. The system will consist of a commercial speaker that will deliver an ultrasonic sound wave which will be transformed into power by a circuit board and microphones. Using electromagnetic waves for wireless power will make it easy to identify the power source, and the signal will be easy to interrupt, bounce, and broaden.

The idea is to create a light which is able to gather enough light from ambient sources to power itself for up to eight hours. The light will use photoluminescent pigments to trap and harness the waste energy from the light sources around it, including CFL and LED bulbs. The lamp will have no cords or batteries, and will be 100% powered by leftover light energy. It will be able to harness enough light from an LED bulb in 30 minutes to glow softly for eight hours. The lamp's...

The new ski poles will allow the user to take calls on the slopes without fumbling to remove a glove or fish out the phone. The poles will be equipped with a waterproof grip imbedded with a microprocessor and OLED screen. The grip will communicate via Bluetooth with the user's smartphone, allowing the user to receive calls by swiping a finger across the optical sensor. Other features will include the ability to receive short text messages, check location information, or access...

The idea is to make biodegradable plastics from pine sap. The rosin and turpentine that can be derived from evergreens is rich in hydrocarbons similar to some components of petroleum. These hydrocarbon-rich materials can be converted into plastics through polymerization, but the process for creating plastics from petroleum is much more developed than any current processes using renewable sources.
