Have you ever gone out for a walk the day after a windy/stormy day/night and noticed on nearly every street/avenue the twisted carcasses of broken umbrellas? Umbrellas operate fine on rainy days where there is just light to moderate wind - that is they perfom their design function beautifully (keeping the rain off you). However on days when winds start to gust and squall, it is a full time job just trying fo keep the umbrella facing into the wind. At intersections/road junctions and in...

Ever get tired about getting the clothes wet during rainy day when u're not in home to "save" the clothes. Let's find a solution! You now have a little container beside the clothes. When there is rain, water goes in. It gets heavy. Using a lever system, the weight of the water container can convert to a motion to close a waterproof cloth up above the clothes to prevent them from getting wet (Apologize for my bad English, I'm only a student who's not living in the USA.)

Imagine yourself sitting in a garden. It is summer, there is a slight breeze, and there's a clothesline somewhere with white linen sheets that are gently dancing in the sun. Eeek. Wait a minute. Nobody had the time to wash. You were to lazy (remember, it's summer), but your mother-in-law, wife, husband, and kids didn't come to the rescue. So you're just sitting there. It is hot (remember, it's summer), the garden seems kinda naked and the wind is unnerving... Introduce: The instant...

Who wants Purple or Green eyes? I do! I think that staining your eye would be very space aged. We have colored contacts and special ones to cover your whole eye but, they cause infections and hurt to wear. So, what's the alternative to freaking out your parents or school teacher with eye color. My eye stain would stain the whole eye; especially the white part. Any color on white shows up very brightly. That's why artists paint on white; because it shows the colors easily. We could have...

Clothing to which you can attach various different patches of velcro backed objects, which represent a different imaginary or real persona or type of outwardly projected and seeable job, activity (P.J.s, etc.), or fairy tale mythological being that any child wants to be. A doctor, a judge, a cartoon, a fireman, a wizard, a dragon, a professional sports player (you would attach all the jersey uniform pieces to the velcro clothing) or what ever you can think of that a child could or would...

You know that permanant hair dye grows out after a while, and you get those roots showing through? My idea is to invent a hair dye that not only penetrates the hair cuticle, but actually leaves a micro sac of dye fluid just underneath the skin, in the oil sac of the hair. This way, when the hair growss, the friction would burst the sac, causing the dye to be released and the hair would grow out of your head already coloured! The hair would only need to be dyed every 4 months.
