A new hydration will be designed with skiers in mind--fitting under the jacket and more closely to the body. Ordinary hydration packs are convenient, but they can be problematic while skiing. The water tends to freeze in the cold, and the bulky pack is a bit uncomfortable while riding the chair lift. The new hydration pack will help eliminate these problems with its streamlined design meant to be worn under a jacket. Because it is closer to the body and out of the direct cold, the...

Get the most out of your workout with a smart fitness shirt that will gather detailed information about the wearer's exertion level to help encourage an optimal workout. The shirt will be embedded with an array of sensors that will measure changes in heart rate, breathing and pulse. The information can be uploaded wirelessly, and then used to track the wearer's physical output.

Detachable, retractable (it goes up to the top of the regular bike helmet or down in front of your face) face shield much like the face shields worn by police officers wearing riot gear masks but, with much lighter weight (thin but, strong clear plastic). Not for impact protection but, has many other protective features such as pebbles, bugs, wind burn, dirt, dust, or other flying debrise protecting all parts of your face especially your eyes from abrasion from objects in the air (dust can...

This device is used for finding the speed while you are running or jogging. The device is fixed to the shoes, the distance between the shoe is measured, also the time. Then the speed is calculated by these two inputs. The o/p is then sent to your wrist watch (digital watch). This particular shoe can be used for atheletes, joggers etc.

Based on the idea of the "detachable faceplate" for car stereos, this bicycle frame lock about 2 1/2 inches long, is actually a small but critical part of the bike's frame. It has a 5-number combination lock. Without it securely fastened, the bike frame essentially has a "hole" in it and will collapse when someone sits on it. Made of steel or titanium, this tubular lock is highly portable and can be taken anywhere. In combination with a strong, standard bike lock, it will thwart any...

The track for the skateboard would be a single rail track on ground level, built in sections and fastened to the ground over a sloping terrain. The rail would be hollow consisting of a chamber to house both wheels of a skateboard. The skateboard would consist of a typical platform for the rider and have a single wheel fore and aft. The skateboard would essentially be locked onto the track, yet freely move at potentially high speeds- depending on the length and slope of the track. We're...

So my friend and I are currently in Keystone Colorado snowboarding, and we want to get some cool pictures of ourselves snowboarding, but its a real hassle to have one person wait with a camera to get footage or pictures. It hit us that since they use cameras on rollercoasters automatically, why not install video cameras/still cameras at cool locations around a ski hill (i.e. jumps, rails, big slopes)? This way, the cameras could automatically take cool pictures or video of people...

"No rollerblades in store". But what if you could quickly slip a walking pad onto the wheels of your rollerblades, and negotiate any store, stairs, gravel, etc. Borrowing the design from the skate guards used forever on ice skates, this could save the need for slinging shoes over your shoulder, not to mention a lot of time. The design of "Wheelwalkers" would have to have an angled base so that you could still manage the walking motion in the boot shell of the blades.

My idea came to me one day when I was fishing. The bugs were really bad and when I was reeling in my louwer I would have to stop so I could swat at the bug that was biting me. So I created an idea to have a fishing rod that with a push of a button I can reel in my louwer with one hand, and if I do get a fish on, I can reel it in normally not to take away the enjoyment of catching the fish. So you cast normaly and have the option to reel it in manualy or automaticaly with the drag set so it...
