A major issue in computers is sound. Many people want to minimise the constant humming of their computer fans and hard disk. If a whole computer could somehow be put into a vacuum then this would eliminate the need for a fan (as there would be no temperature in the case as it would be in a vacuum) and also any noise should not be heard in the case as noise cannot travel through a vacuum. Recently I've been sitting under a tree with my laptop, and afterwards the screen had dozens of tiny, sticky drops on it that were hard to clean off. My idea is for cheap, disposable laptop foils that are transparent and can be put on the laptop's screen and keyboard as a temporary protection. Of course they shouldn't hinder functionality or visibility of the screen.

How about mice with two optical sensors so that you clould rotate the mouse and it would rotate the cursor on the screen or the object you are dragging, might be fun for games too; probably would be better if you design the mouse to be round.

My idea would be similar to a piggy bank connected to the PC via USB. The device can only be opened through PC software. The user can set up the software to determine when you can open the device containing the cash. This information is stored in the USB time bank. Once the set time is up, the user can connect the USB time bank to the PC. The software can now enable the user to open the USB time bank to get his cash.

I think a lot of people will agree with me that spending a lot of time in front of a laptop can be a real pain in the neck. Literally! They have the swivel screen, but why don't they have the adjustable height screen? Being able to adjust the screen height, each person can adjust it to their comfort level. Newer processors are larger, faster and consume more power. Power consumption equates largely with heat generation, and keeping them them cool can be a major concern. So my idea is, use this heat generated to keep your coffee warm. Every computer has a coffee cup holder and when you turn on the switch the generated heat is used to keep your coffee warm.

I have been searching the web for a month now when I came across the wind up radio. Now i got the idea that all the energy from the winding you do, could go into batteries and power a wind up laptop, wouldn't this be great for long aircraft flights?
