Just drop your cell down phone next to any dummy terminal and your phone automatically connects WiFi your Office Computer to any Dummy Terminal any where with the addition of the WiFi Modem Installed On The Dummy Terminal. Take your office to any where they have the WiFi Dummy! Of course you would need to convince the entire World to use Wifi, Dummy Terminals! Nowadays laptop computer screens, even the ones intended for use in the office, are coming in widescreen. I think it would be useful if these screens could be tilted vertically like for editing text documents. Widescreens come at a ratio of 16:9=1.77. A standard letter page is in a ratio of 11:8.5=1.29 so the length of a letter would fit nicely if put at the width of a page. Anyway, it's an idea.

every few years a new video game paradigm must be invented to keep people entertained. as time has gone on, we spend more and more time playing games like world of warcraft, everquest, the sims, and so on. i believe that the next step in games is the game that lets you achieve something in real life while you play. it's already showing up in games that are designed to make you smarter or more physically fit. the idea is this: a game where the quests are for things that real people need...

Computer cases have two obvious problems. First they are not recyclable (or made from recycled material) and secondly they come in many pieces and parts and are made from various materials. Metal & Non-recyclable computer cases fill our landfills everyday with toxins. My ideal case would be some form of injection-molded (from recyclable or recycled plastic) single piece case which could house the main computer components. Allowances would need to be made for case cooling as well as...

Most people know how to play one common instrument - the human voice. Imagine software that could convert a person's whistling or humming into MIDI format (or something similar) - recording the pitch, duration, volume, and decay. Once in a format like MIDI, it can be interchanged with a wide range of virtual instruments, allowing you to command an orchestra without ever having to learn how to play a MIDI keyboard.

I propose that the start-up sound of your PC be changed or at least cofigurable to play spoken word definitions. This allows the average person to increase their vocab everyday, when they turn on their computer each morning at work, effortlessly and unconciously.

Hi, here in Argentina, good laptop computers are uncommonly expensive and impossible to buy. My concept is simple. Make this technology accessible to a large number of people by removing all the expensive parts from the notebook. For example: the screen. No I'm not joking. So, the tiny screen cost a lot? Remove it. I would gladly use any TV screen as a replacement. Like playstation. I know is not as mobile as one regular notebook, an it doesn't look as good, but is better than pc. I...

They need to make a keyboard that you can't see. It's just a little a pyramid type thing that stand up in front of you and when you turn on your computer. It shines the keyboard on your desk. When you type you hit the projected keys on your desk and it senses the position of your fingers.

This may sound strange, but is there a way that allows two or more PC's to be connected together directly from motherboard to motherboard to combine all resources. You could wire all the busses together via an extrenal cable and treat your total resources as one, and you could use only one power supply to fuel the entire network.

I think it is about time to stop making our electronics in stiff plastic. We could make all the components fit in the right places and make our casings see-through and flexible for futuristic and multi-use and multi-purpose reasons. The main reason would simply be to be able to bend them in half to fit in a backpack.
