The idea is to do away with having to change mother boards etc., by creating modular components that can be stacked much like on a hi-fi system. For example storage (hopefully solid state not hard disk) would be a separate unit. Modules would be joined together much like a stack of lego. Each module would comply with a standard interface connection. The operating system would be completely parallel, thus any number of CPUs could be stacked and the work load would be shared according to...

Nowadays you can chat with people as you watch them but you need to buy a external web-cam. My idea is why not include one on the monitor?

My idea is to create laptops with an In-Focus projector built on the back side of the screen (the cover), so that when people go to board rooms or perhaps in a classroom, they just have to carry one piece of equipment. The laptop will have the presentation software and the presentation ready to go and all they have to do is switch views so it is projected on the wall as well. Maybe Dell or Compaq already has this in the works, but if they don't they should jump all over it. Maybe this...

A conventional computer plays lasers over dots of phosporus chemicals on the inner surface of the monitor screen to form pictures (basically). what if you used a grid pattern of wires like on a circuit board, and had electrically responsive phospors, then the screen coud be almost as thin as a page in a book.

Just like your "Favorites" Menu; you can move Menu Items and transfer all Software Menu options to any Menu Title Heading and Even Grab and add From an Add and Deleted Menu. So, you get some Software like, a Paint Program, for instance and realize you always need to hit five buttons or items first just to begin so, you rearrange those plus your favorites under one Menu Bar Title Heading and Rename the Menu's Name's to suit you! You would also be able to choose the Menu Item's "Word" or...

If you're like me, and most are, the computer sits on the floor. It would be great if ports like firewire, and USB, and Media card slots we built into the side of the computer screen. That way there would be no stooping down. And you would not have to buy extra card readers/writers.

Think of a zombie hand as a mouse: the index finger be left click, the middle finger be right click. Put the scroll bar right between the index and middle finger. Put a button where the right handed thumb would be. Two side buttons for the ring and pinky finger.

There are kinetic wrist watches that need no battery. They just have an internal capacitor which is charged by the arm's movements. I have one such watch myself. My idea is to use the same principle for a wireless computer mouse. We move the mouse around all day long as we work. Those movements could charge the mouse's internal capacitor. This way the mouse would not need batteries! Clean, environmental-friendly energy for our moving pointer device! How about that?

There is a lot of software that give out an audible output of what is a computer monitor screen for the blind. There seems to be no reference to a tactile output pad that reproduces text in braille as well as graphics as raised dots. The output 'screen' can be a pad lying on the table with a matrix of equally spaced pins, which are at surface level and rise above the surface on activation The technology exists (rather outmoded) as dot matrix printers. Enhancements can be thought...

Currently, muffin fans, like you find in computer power supplies and mounted in computer cases as well as other electronic gear, are manufactured in a manner that makes them unserviceable. They eventually get fouled with dust and other airborne particulates which cause the fan to "gum up" and stop working. If they could be cleaned, their lifetime would be considerably longer. If you try to take one apart they simply break. If you try to clean them by soaking in even with the most exotic...
