When we purchase Hardware that plays electronic Media of any kind, the manufacturer (or distributor/retailer) of the Hardware will have to encode the purchaser's PassKey (Last Name, SSN, etc.) into the Player. When digital media is purchased, the same will happen...the purchaser's PassKey will be encoded into the electronic Media. (Of course they may use their wife's/Friend's/Boss's PassKey if it is a gift.) The Player will only play the media if the passkeys match. Of course there...

I would like to use a radio tape recorder to tape emissions while I'm not at home. this machine would be programmable as for the channel and time I want. Just the way we use VCR tape recorders. As a bonus a version for the car should be available.

If you have all ranges of speakers around you from tweeters then mid-range then woofers and subwoofers you can only surround yourself with special audio effects which would be to have moving speakers. If you have a revolving speaker throwing undistorted sound around a room it will literally throw it's own voice and complete a surround sound system by adding sound or noise from (seemingly) all directions at once. There may also be other arrangements for speakers that spin or move to add to...

There are some people who are really good at making their own beats into a song by voice. For example, use your imagination for the following line: umm da da da da umm da da da da umm da da da da (the umm's have a low pitch and the da's are fast higher pitch sound). Of course quality songs are a lot better. If a musician wants to make a song out of his voice he records his voice. If he wants to replace his voice with musical instruments, he can do that too. In order for HIM to make a...

Currently there are many guitar "modellers" available to recreate sounds via DSP of various well known amps - but they never sound or respond "just right". How about using Neural Networks to come up with accurate transfer functions to process straight guitar input signals to realistic sounding and responding amplifier output signals? You train the networks by playing the guitar through the actual amp you want to model, and use backpropogation of error to define the specific amp...

If you are a student like me that likes to listen the music in class or even in other places without having to use those big bulky headphones and getting tangled up in those anonoying wires then my idea is to invent a headphone that is simply placed in your ear and is wireless. I my opinion I think this idea will sell greatly, especially to students.

With the increase in popularity of the mp3 players, someone should design a car stereo that instead of a cd player or cassette deck, should be a sort of docking station for the mp3 player. You would no longer need to burn them to cd to play in the car. Just insert your mp3 player in the in dash unit and listen.

I know that lots of people would like to listen to music during class in a very secret, efficient way. I know how it can be done. All you need is a MP3 player, Mini Disc player, CD player or any audio device with a stereo/headphone jack. There is a small antenna that plugs into your audio device's stereo/headphone jack. You also get a specially designed pencil which has a built-in receiver and speaker at the end. So what happens is you turn on your audio device and the music is sent...

After you watch a film you always want to remember it in some way, but you can never retrieve the musical score from today's DVDs to remember it by. If you provide a sound track on Side B the opposite side from the movie, you could then listen to the music.

I saw an electronic keyboard that had a mic built in; the other day. It was made so you could sing along with your music. It would have been better if the mic was used to "sample sounds." This would be a great feature for synth's. You could clap your hands, bang a bottle, or tap your pen and it would be recorded. Then you could play it back in any octave.
