I want a minature mobile I can wear, either on my arm (wrist) or lapel-area, that doesn't have buttons, or a lid that flips up or off. I want it to be circular, and look like a bit of mesh. When I touch it, it comes alive - it glows. It recognises my voice. I say the name of the person I want to speak to, I say end call. It is linked to my most important numbers including a satellite guidance system so if I get lost, I can get instructions. It's waterproof. And shatterproof.

Would it be nice to just look at your watch whenever your cellphone rings. The watch will have bluetooth capability that talks with the phone and displays the CALLER or the MESSAGE sender (better yet with the message) before I even take my phone out from my bag or pocket.

How about a service that would enable us to key in a phone number and send a message to the phone provider's server and it would reply with the details of that user. Just like online people tracking.

I don't know why companies that make phones haven't thought of novelty type mobile phones like in the shape of footballs, teddy bears for kids, cars or semi nude models for adults even pop stars, guns, fruit machines, etc.

Simple idea, cannot believe Radio Shack does not have one on the shelf. I have been shopping online and cannot find to purchase for fathers day. OK, a simple device which connects to your cordless phone handset and is a stylish box with a nice sounding speaker or two built into it. Only controls are volume and squelch to eliminate feedback. Now at Christmas you can bring the phone to the group instead of having to take the group to the base unit. Da, why does this not exist - or is it me...

The biggest hurdle to a physical money free society is small, personal payments. The easiest way to pay my friend £10 is to give him a £10 note. I could make a £10 PayPal transaction to him, but not if i am out, not at comp. But what if you could transfer money (like paypal) over your mobile phone? I could simply text a company the AMOUNT, your PIN, and the destination MOB NUMBER, and it would electronically transfer the requested amount to that persons bank account. It could...

I am sure everyone must be playing games in their mobile phone and often might have encountered problems in operating the cursors giving troubles due to sweat or getting stuck due to continuous use. How about a game pad that could be connect just like a headset. Pad would have all those cursors that is necessary to play the games. This would make playing games in mobile more enjoyable.

If buttons on the mobile phone dial pad are made of piezoelectric material, they will deform when we press them. The resulting electrical voltage from mechanical deformation can be stored and used for charging the mobile phone.

Several times while reading through a message on a mobile display, u have to scroll down the display. Instead it would be convenient if the display were strechable to accomodate the additional info. Or the display automatically adjusted its font so as to accomodate the entire message.

For the fashion conscious mobi-lady of 2004, mobile phone is no longer a communication device, it is a fashion statement. Why not provide a pocket mirror in the clamshell (samsung clamshells waste that space!) for that last minute dab of lipstick! Also a mobile which is shaped circular and can be fitted within a compact circular powder case? Would that be asking for too much?!
