I suggest creating a TV that can play our favorite radio / CD / other when we mute it to avoid commercials.

It would be great if someone invented a holographic TV. There everything you see would be projected creating a feeling as if it was actually there.

I often can't remember where I have left the TV remote control and look for it all over the room. So I suggest creating some device which is placed on the TV and makes the remote control beep when I need to find it. The functionality seems to be similar to the one which wireless phones have.

What if a remote control had a buy button on it? It would be very convenient to buy things which were in the commercials. To purchase something the user should push Buy button and then enter credit card numbers or passwords in the form on the TV screen. The good would be delivered at the address defined.

It would be great to have a TV set that would allow two people in same room to watch different TV programs. My idea is to create a two-sided TV screen for this. It would have separate remotes and possibly speakers inside remote or simple headphone speakers. With such a TV set couples won't need to have extra TV in another room.

No more having to guess when your show will come back on and you can run to the bathroom and do any activity if we could see how long the commercials were before the show comes back on. We could hear an audible ten second countdown to show restart to return on time. This would be preferable to the commercial cut out of today since we might actually want to see certain commercials.

Why not have a TV receiver that can simultaneously translate up to 20 channels and send them wirelessly AKA broadcast them to the other TV's in the home. Room A wants to watch channel 2. Room A tunes their TV to channel 2 and the TV transmits to the receiver telling it to broadcast channel 2, therefore allowing the TVs in any room to receive channel 2. What about making Flat Screen TV's flatter by putting all of the unessacary components inside another box, that could be hidden somewhere, and then the TV would just be speakers, the lcd screen and the buttons, and it will have wires running to the other box that does all that other stuff or it could be wireless, either way would be good.
