Why not develop a radar system able to detect objects that have fallen onto the tracks, automatically cutting power and notifying oncoming trains? The system will work by sending out a continuous spread of wideband radio waves and using an Automatic Target Recognition procedure to analyze the reflections of the waves when they will encounter a foreign object. The system is supposed to recognize a variety of objects, including suitcases, adults, and children.

The idea is to make headlamps for the bicycle of LED light stylishly integrated into the handlebars. A device that would retro-fit onto the front wheel wells of cars and trucks that would hold a small container of sand which could be activated during icy road conditions when brakes are applied. The sand would disperse in front of the tire allowing for better traction. This device would also assist in sanding roads for motorists without the device.
