Compressed DVD libraries
/Technology/Consumer Electronics/Television and Video
I am tired of buying DVDs and piling them. With mega storage drives available, maybe someone should compress about 200 movies and market them. Select and create your own DVD library, something like MP3 songs on a single player. With a user interface to choose movies and plug into any TV, you have your own library and storage is easy.

Fragrant sawdust pellets
/Miscellaneous
Compress sawdust into pellets and add some ingredients to release various types of fragrance when they burn in the fireplace. Compressed sawdust is a recycled product, cheaper, lighter than log wood, keeps the home smelling fragrant.

Comfort bra
/Shopping/Fashion/Fashion Design
Ok, I got this idea after my girlfriend complained about women suffering from wearing wired bra which makes it very painful. So we sat down and did some brainstorming and came up with the idea of substituting the wire with something else. Maybe something like industrial silicon gel which is perfect as it is softer than a wire and it has elasticity and durability, not to mention making it extemely comfortable.

Virtual daytrading game
/Technology/Computers/Computer Software and Applications
I am a stockmarket daytrader and it really bothers me how no one has started a great virtual daytrading game. I am sure there are millions who would be interested to learn without the risk.

Own fashion wear
/Shopping/Fashion/Fashion Design
I am so tired of having fashion imposed on me. Sometimes I would like to design my clothes. Can't anybody invent a personal robot with inbuilt software that can just take the cloth and make the garments as per my instructions? My personal tailor. I can have the best designer stuff at affordable price (not including cost of the robot) with my own label. Why would I even have to open a manufacturing unit and pay people to work for me. Someone please make one soon.

Ciruclar Cabinets
/Miscellaneous
Files in the office require tremendous space and I have seen them piled right up to the ceiling in typical square cabinets. Cabinets are long and occupy too much space. I think someone should introduce circular file cabinets, just like the circular hangers for garments in departmental stores. Files would be so much easier accessible and take up lesser space.

Visiting card screener
/Technology/Consumer Electronics
I think a lot of us carry way too many visiting cards. I want to know if there is a device that is slim and can be fitted into a wallet which can screen a visiting card and then put it into memory. This can be accessed anytime we want. I guess it would require some kind of scanner, but can anybody suggest some cheaper method? It's got a lot of market as many people still don't use computers.

Bad roads
/Cars and Vehicles
Potholes and patches are a nuisance to commuters, they damage cars and cost the government lots of money to repair. Repair works is also time consuming. My idea is for covering these potholes and bad roads with temporary substitutes such as a matting made of skid proof hard rubber which can be made up of small units for the various sizes and attached like peices of Lego. They can be square or hexagonal and easily attachable/detached. They make surfaces even for small patches. Less manpower...
